8-Day Compact Meru & Safari Itinerary

This efficient 8-day itinerary is a compact, value-focused adventure that combines a classic 4-day Mount Meru climb with a concentrated Northern Circuit safari, deliberately avoiding the long transfer to the Serengeti so more time is spent viewing wildlife closer to Arusha. After summiting Meru (4,566 m), you move straight into three of Tanzania’s most accessible and productive parks—Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater—maximizing game-viewing hours while keeping travel distances short. Ideal for travellers who want both a genuine high-altitude summit and excellent big-game encounters without an extended itinerary.
